More pics of actress Jennifer Holmes

Jennifer Holmes was an actress who worked steadily on television from 1979 to 1989. During that decade, she appeared on a variety of shows and if you were watching TV during that time you probably saw her somewhere. Today, Jennifer Holmes is perhaps best remembered for being featured in the first season cast of the popular sitcom Newhart. However, she appeared on many TV shows, ranging from half-hour sitcoms to hour-long dramas and also took part in several TV movies and two feature films.

A while back, Jennifer Holmes was the subject of a chronological pictorial of some of her television appearances. The following is a continuation of that image series, featuring some of her other TV work.

Meg Foster in Promise Him Anything

Meg Foster and Frederic Forrest

In 1975, Meg Foster co-starred with Frederic Forrest in TV movie about computer dating called Promise Him Anything. I haven't seen the movie (and I don't know if it is even out there to be seen), but it sounds like it would be fun to watch. Steven Keats and Hollywood veteran Eddie Albert also star in the project.

Information about Promise Him Anything is fairly scarce, but here are a few items to take a look at:

Wendy Kilbourne on Knight Rider

Wendy Kilbourne's first big role on TV was as guest star in an episode of Knight Rider. Previously, she had some bit parts on a handful of other series but her appearance on Knight Rider represented her first substantial television performance. In the episode, titled 'Diamonds Aren't a Girl's Best Friend', Wendy Kilbourne plays a model named Lauren who works for the sleazy Bernie Mitchell (played by the always campy Cameron Mitchell). Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff) poses as Lauren's boyfriend after another model is killed and eventually he uncovers a diamond smuggling ring.

Wendy Kilbourne, playing a model, is just right for this part and she looks great throughout the episode. It's no wonder that she would go on to work steadily for the rest of the decade. 'Diamonds Aren't a Girl's Best Friend' originally aired in January, 1984. Later on that same year, Wendy Kilbourne would be the featured guest on two other prime-time action series, Riptide and The A-Team.

Here are some images of Wendy Kilbourne appearing on Knight Rider:

Clip of Meg Foster on The Sixth Sense

In 1972, Meg Foster made six guest appearances on various TV shows. One of those appearances was on a short-lived series called The Sixth Sense, which dealt with paranormal activities and extra sensory perception. In this clip, from an episode titled 'Gallows in the Wind', Meg Foster has a chat with the star of the show, Gary Collins.

Meg Foster wants you to be aware

In this newspaper article from the summer of 1973, Meg Foster promotes awareness. Awareness of what? Natural childbirth and prenatal training, of course! A very random article to say the least but it does have great picture of her and some nice quotes.

Clip of Barbara De Rossi in Quo Vadis

Here's a clip of Barbara De Rossi in the 1985 miniseries Quo Vadis?. In this scene, Eunice (Barbara De Rossi) and her master Petronius (Frederic Forrest) watch a strange ancient ritual and follow it up with a short chat. Of course, it is not Barbara De Rossi's real voice being used. Her voice is dubbed, as it is in almost all of the English language projects she took part in.
